I promised myself that I would not shop at Ikea again when we lived in the United States. I associated Ikea with "just out of college" and "fake" furniture. The entire design motif is socio-communist-hip; everyone the same, everyone slightly scandinavian. It is not that I do not like the stuff they sell, much of it is really quite nice. It is just a huge, Scandinavian style furniture Wal-Mart box store. And I hate those.

Aldus- his opinion was to sleep for the first 15 minutes and then threaten to make *lots* of noise. So I picked him up and carried him for the next 30-45 minutes. He was asleep, but vigilant.

...and yes, we'll be getting two of the Pax Malm with hanging clothes bar, shelves but no shoe rack.
