We are trying hard not to be the parents that require people to wash their hands in disinfecting acid and show a CPR card before they pick up Aldus. We are trying hard not to be the stage parents who take lots of photos of him and post them online just in case he is hired to be a baby model and make us rich. We are trying not to be over precautious about everything.

This is why we leave Aldus on the couch, empty a glass of wine and wait to see if the dog tries to do anything interesting while we have the camera.

Today was a bust. Maybe tomorrow...
