I have for many years told people that infant babies are not very fun because they lack the physical integrity to hold their head straight. They are amazingly floppy before they are about 3-4 months old. And floppy is a bad thing when you are holding a baby.

Aldus is just at the point where he can keep his head up if he is motivated. But you can tell it tires him out because he only wants to look up like that for a few minutes at a time. Then he finds something interesting to look at that is below him. Or he complains about the fact that his neck hurts.
